Position: Assistant Lecturer-cum-Assistant Instructor (UR-03; EWS-01; OBC-01)

Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level-6, Rs. 35,400 per month plus usual allowances as per Central Government Rules.

Essential & Desirable Educational Qualifications:

Category A:
Educational Qualifications:

Post Graduate in Hospitality / Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute.
Full-time Degree or three-year Diploma in Hotel Administration / Hospitality Management / Hotel Management / Hospitality Administration / Culinary Arts / Culinary Science with at least 55% marks from:
NCHMCT or NCHMCT affiliated Institute
AICTE approved Institute
State Board of Technical Education approved Institute
University recognized by UGC
Equivalent foreign university degree/diploma recognized by AIU
Desirable Qualifications:

Ph.D. degree
Six months of working experience in a 3-star or above category hotel
Mandatory Qualification:

NHTET qualified with the prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT
Category B:
Educational Qualifications:
Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality / Hotel Administration / Hotel Management / Culinary Art with at least 55% marks and at least 2 years of hospitality industry experience
NHTET qualified with the prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT
Common Clauses:

Service as a full-time teacher at UG and above level in Hospitality is considered valid experience.
Ph.D. holders in Hospitality from recognized universities are exempted from NHTET qualification.
Age Limit:

Not exceeding 35 years for General Category
Age relaxation as per Government norms for other categories
Selection Method:

Skill test as prescribed by NCHMCT with NHTET weightage
